That way, you're not distracted by fish or other things underwater and you can just focus on learning how to use the scuba diving equipment. Your instructor will teach you how to put on your wetsuit, your oxygen tank, your flippers, and all the rest of the scuba diving equipment that is important while underwater. Your instructor will also teach you the importance of making sure everything is tight and fits correctly before you get in the water.
